Questions about the speed test
Is the website speed test free?
Yes. It is free and there is nothing to sign up for. It runs Google PageSpeed Insights, the same tool Google uses to measure page experience.
Why does it test on mobile?
Most people in the UAE browse on their phones, and Google ranks websites based on their mobile version. A site that feels fast on a laptop can still be slow on a phone.
What is a good score?
90 or above is good, 50 to 89 needs improvement and below 50 is poor. For loading, aim to show the main content within 2.5 seconds.
